The American Constitution In this paper I have chosen three historical documents that have played a role in defining significant issues in American history. Without the implementation of this Act, our nation would be divided and mass turmoil would exist. Although there are still racial, religious, and ethical debates about this issue, we can rest assured that The Civil Rights Act was a stepping-stone towards complete equality to all who live in this great nation.
